If you ask someone abroad, if they know the town of Karlskoga? The answer will most probably be no. If however, you ask them, if they know the company Bofors or if they heard about Alfred Nobel? The answer will most probably be yes.

Both are well known worldwide, Alfred Nobel giving his name to the Nobel Prize. His former home and Labratory "Björkborn" now a museum, is only a short distance from the hotel.

Karlskoga has a busy events calendar in culture, sport and entertainment including music and festivals. In addition to this there is also race track with regular motor and motorcycle events.
